Terms of Service
1. Who we are
FlightDesk is an independent travel booking service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing Delta Air Lines, Inc., or any airline. All airline names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the booking assistance we provide.
2. What we do
Our agents help travelers book, change, cancel, refund, or service airline itineraries by phone, the way a traditional travel agency does. We pull live airline inventory, walk through your options, and process the booking on your behalf.
3. Service fees
We charge a per-itinerary service fee in addition to the airline's own ticket price. The agent will quote the exact fee at the start of the call, before anything is booked or charged. You decide whether to proceed. Service fees are non-refundable once the booking is issued.
4. Airline rules apply
Your ticket is subject to the issuing airline's fare rules, including:
- Change and cancellation fees
- Refundability (some fares are non-refundable)
- Baggage allowances
- Seat selection rules
- Schedule changes and irregular operations policy
FlightDesk does not control these rules and cannot waive them. The agent will read back the relevant rules before booking.
5. Payment
Payment is taken over a recorded, encrypted phone line and processed through PCI-DSS-compliant systems. You are charged for (a) the airline ticket and (b) the FlightDesk service fee. We do not store full card numbers.
6. Refunds and cancellations
- 24-hour rule: If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and your flight is at least 7 days away, U.S. DOT rules typically allow a full refund of the ticket price (service fee non-refundable).
- Outside 24 hours: Refunds depend on the airline's fare rules. The agent files the refund request on your behalf and provides a confirmation number.
- Service fee: Non-refundable once the booking is issued, regardless of subsequent ticket cancellation.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate names (matching government ID), travel dates, and contact information. Once tickets are issued, names cannot be changed in most fare classes. Always verify the itinerary aloud with the agent before payment.
8. Limitation of liability
FlightDesk is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, schedule changes, lost baggage, or any other operational issue once your ticket is issued — those are governed by the airline's Contract of Carriage. Our liability is limited to the service fee paid to FlightDesk for the affected booking.
9. Recording and quality
All calls are recorded for quality assurance, training, and dispute resolution. By calling FlightDesk you consent to call recording.
10. Disputes
If you have a dispute, call us first at 1-800-555-0199 or email support@YOUR-DOMAIN.com. Unresolved disputes are governed by U.S. law and the jurisdiction where FlightDesk is registered.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Effective" date reflects the most recent change. Continued use of our service after updates constitutes acceptance.
